- Krita felt a bit strange and overwhelming to use at first, but it becomes quite decent once you get used to it - When i first opened it up, i thought it was for photo editing. It said stuff like image, as in photo?? also they totally ignored my language prefs - Of course, I had to draw Yuuri to start things off - for the wobbly lines, I can just go back and paint over them - paint brush size is at the type [edit: what did i mean by this]. You can also just type in the size you want - default is at 40 px, but i think 8 px is better for finer details. I used both (but i used the former only because I didn't know how to change sizes at first) - it's times like this where i wish I remember where i put my tablet. Is it still there anymore? - the size for a normal painting is quite large. My first one needed 89.8 MiB! It also displays your size at the top of the window, which is nice. - speaking of sizes, i somehow managed to elongate the canvas size. I don't even know how i did it. the worst part: I can't revert it cuz I saved it and closed the app. I didn't even know that happened. I clicked some arrows on the sides and hoped they would bring me back to the drawing (I couldn't zoom my way back). I managed to remedy it by copying Yuuri to a new canvas (in separate tab). - I had to delete the old one, which was sth called 1st official painting in krita (technically not my first. i didn't save my actual first one. I jumped straight into colouring for the second one) - good thing they don't save the size settings. tho it does look like they save the layer settings? The layer I made to fix things was still there - looks like you can't get rid of the background (automatically added in (Thought i accidentally button mashed an extra layer in))? And can't erase over it either? It's also automatically locked btw - using the bucket tool adds in white lines for some reason? Why?? Is there a way to fix this? - Right clicking gives you colour wheel and brush shortcut. Also shows you a preview of the colours - I didn't like how they rotated the triangle of the colour wheel at first, but i kinda didn't mind after a while - ctrl + click on colour = eye drops colour - save progress shows up at the bottom - They saved it as two separate files - that said, i think I'll stick to ibispaint
